Cast:

  • Erin Kellyman (“Roberta”) - A former marine who is facing charges by the military after an incident in Afghanistan. Intelligent and psychologically complex – constantly trying to understand and outrun her generational trauma and inherited violence. When she comes to Craw County, she’s just out for revenge, but if she’s going to change this county for good and topple everything Boss has built, she’s got to put down roots and find a home in the town.

  • Kevin Bacon (“Earl”) The son of the legendary "Sheriff Bert" -- who ruled Craw County with an iron fist, Earl is a tough but humble blue-collar army veteran. Eager to mend fences and reconnect with his daughter -- and not afraid to stir the hornet’s nest that is Craw County. 

  • Tim McGraw (“Coach Boss”) - Legendary head football coach of Craw County High School, he is the leader of his community and a complex figure who embodies the dark side of Southern football culture. He’s the head of an organized crime ring that extends beyond his small town in Alabama, and he’s not afraid to protect his empire by any means necessary.


LoglineBased on the award-winning graphic novel series, “Southern Bastards” follows a tenacious military vet into Craw County, Alabama, in search of her estranged father. What she finds is a murderous hornet’s nest of organized crime run by the winningest high school football coach in the South.



 

ERIN KELLYMAN

BIO: Earlier this year, Erin Kellyman starred opposite Ralph Fiennes and Jack O’Connell in Sony’s critically acclaimed film 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, written by Alex Garland and directed by Nia DaCosta. Her character appeared briefly at the end of Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later, the third installment in the franchise. Kellyman recently made her stage debut starring opposite Anastasia Hille in "Evening All Afternoon” at London's Donmar Warehouse. The show, which received rave reviews, will conclude it’s run on Saturday, April 11th. This Spring, Kellyman will appear in BBC One/iPlayer’s comedy series Twenty Twenty Six. She co-stars opposite Hugh Bonneville, who reprises his role as “Ian Fletcher.”

 

Last year, Kellyman starred in Eleanor the Great, Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut for Sony Pictures Classics, alongside June Squibb and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film premiered last year in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival.  Kellyman received the “Breakthrough Actor” award from the Newport Beach Film Festival for her performance in the film. Other notable credits include Steve McQueen’s Blitz, Season 4 of Netflix’s Top BoyDon’t Forget the Driver opposite Toby Jones, Disney+ and Lucasfilm’s Willow, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, David Lowery’s The Green Knight (A24) with Dev Patel, Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story, and the BBC adaptation of Les Misérables. In 2025, Erin was named one of Variety’s "10 Brits to Watch." 

 

KEVIN BACON 

BIO: Kevin Bacon is one of the foremost actors whose talent for balancing starring roles with powerful supporting characters in film, television and on stage has allowed him to build a varied and critically acclaimed body of work. 

 

Kevin’s film credits include “Footloose,” “Tremors,” “A Few Good Men,” “The River Wild,” “Mystic River,” “Apollo 13,” “The Woodsman,” “Crazy Stupid Love,” “Black Mass,” “Patriots Day,” “Space Oddity” and most recently “Leave the World Behind,” “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” and “MaXXXine.”

 

On the small screen, Kevin starred in the HBO film "Taking Chance,” for which he won Golden Globe and SAG Awards. For three seasons he starred in the hit Fox series “The Following.” He starred in Jill Soloway’s Amazon series “I Love Dick” for which he earned a Golden Globe Award nomination. He also starred in the hit Showtime series, “City on a Hill” alongside Aldis Hodge for three seasons. In addition to starring in the series, Kevin served as an executive producer and he directed the first episode of the second season. Most recently, Kevin Bacon starred in an executive produced the Blumhouse action horror series “The Bondsman,” and was seen in the limited Netflix series “Sirens” with Julianne Moore.

 

Most recently, Bacon starred in the Michael J. Weithorn-directed film “The Best You Can” alongside his wife, Kyra Sedgwick. This marks the first time the couple has starred in a film together in twenty years. Bacon and Sedgwick are also set to direct and star in the horror-comedy project “Family Movie” and star alongside their children, Travis Bacon and Sosie Bacon. 

 

In addition to acting, Kevin is one half of The Bacon Brothers band. The band has released twelve albums to date.

 

Kevin founded SixDegrees.org, an organization that encourages people to connect and become a celebrity for their cause by raising money for local and grassroots charities in the United States. 

 

As an extension of SixDegrees.org, Kevin launched his own podcast, “Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon,” where he speaks with celebrities about the causes they care most about. TIM MCGRAW

BIO: McGraw's unparalleled career includes sales of over 106 million records worldwide, 49 number one singles, 19 number one albums and countless industry awards and accolades. He holds the record for second-most #1 albums in the U.S. just behind George Strait. His unique chart achievements include having three singles in the Top 20 of the radio charts on multiple occasions, as well as having two singles spend over 10 weeks at number one. He has brought to life some of the biggest hit singles of all-time, including “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Humble and Kind,” a message that continues to impact fans around the world, including a Spanish version sung by McGraw.

 

An acclaimed actor, his movie credits include blockbuster hits “Friday Night Lights” and “The Blind Side.” McGraw starred beside Sam Elliott and his wife Faith Hill in the Yellowstone prequel and three-time Emmy nominated “1883.” McGraw has co-authored two New York Times bestselling books, “Songs of America: Patriotism, Protest and the Music that Made a Nation” with Jon Meacham and fitness book “Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life.” 

 

He has routinely been cited as one of the biggest touring artists in the history of country music and his 2024 “Standing Room Only Tour” ended the year as one of the top tours in country music. As part of the host committee, McGraw welcomed the largest outdoor crowd ever in Nashville during his performance at the 2019 NFL Draft. He has also appeared in the NFL Tailgate party for Superbowl LII and the College Football Playoffs. He headlined the first Major League Baseball game in the history of Tennessee, the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. As a co-founder of Nashville’s first-ever PRCA ProRodeo, Music City Rodeo, McGraw debuted his new song “King Rodeo (Live from the Inaugural Music City Rodeo)” to the sold-out crowd at the Bridgestone Arena event.

REINALDO MARCUS GREEN: 

BIO: Reinaldo Marcus Green is an acclaimed writer, director, and producer whose work bridges intimate storytelling and global appeal. His most recent film, “Bob Marley: One Love,” became a worldwide box office success, following his Academy Award–nominated “King Richard,” which earned six nominations including Best Picture and won Best Actor for Will Smith. Green recently completed production on Marvel’s “The Punisher,” slated for release in 2026, and is developing a Tiger Woods biopic based on Kevin Cook’s book with Irwin Winkler and Higher Ground, the company founded by Barack and Michelle Obama, attached to produce.

 

His films have premiered at Cannes, Sundance, Telluride and TIFF, and he continues to move fluidly between independent cinema and studio filmmaking. Green made his feature debut with “Monsters and Men,” winner of the Special Jury Prize at Sundance, and has since brought his vision to television with HBO’s “We Own This City” and Netflix’s “Top Boy,” the first series in the streamer’s history to be preserved in the BFI National Archive.
