It's a huge release week for ONCE UPON A TIME AT THE END OF THE WORLD.
Our third and final arc kicks off with the debut of issue #11, where old but still bitterly-divided lovers Maceo and Mezzy are forced to work together to try and save whatever's left of our poor, ricketed, royally fucked-up planet. Main art duties are handled by the post-apocalyptic team supreme of artist Nick Dragotta and colorist Rico Renzi. With the following covers by Nick, Ariel Olivetti and the great Jenny Frison.
This week also sees the release of the trade paperback collection of our second acclaimed arc, "The Rise and Fall of Golgonooza," which is part searing love story, part exploration of an end times polyamorous community, part gut-wrenching horror story that will leave your heart stomped into the dirt like the failed and filthy organ it is. In other words, it's a fun romp through the wasteland! The main art duties for this arc, an arc that proved to be the most challenging story I've ever written, are handled by the staggeringly killer team of artist Leila Del Duca and colorist Tamra Bonvillain.
