In terms of Marvel work, "World War She-Hulk" rolls on. I'm really blown away by Javier's work on this arc. I think it's the best one he and I have done yet. MIGHTY VALKYRIES hits issue #5. Still one of the absolute best-looking books on the shelves, hands down. Mattia is simply incredible. And Torunn continues to make magic with Jane. You can look for more info on Jane Foster's continuing adventures coming soon.
My contribution to THE OLD GUARD anthology is also out this month from Image Comics, with art by Rafael Albuquerque, who I've wanted to work with for years. It's set in the 70s and focuses on Booker, who wanders into the wrong sort of church after a Times Square bender.
And there's an advance solicitation for a new printing of the WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN omnibus, that'll be coming your way in December 2021. God, that book was fun to write. At one point, I was also manning about two dozen Twitter accounts for the various characters, students and X-Men and villains and the Jean Grey School, and would tweet in character. Sometimes Marvel editorial would join in and I'd write a script for what was basically a Twitter play, and we'd all tweet as the characters and tell a little story in real time. I think that lunacy alone shows you just how much everyone involved loved working on that series.
