At long last, this week I get to make my proper debut as a DC writer, in the form of BATMAN OFF-WORLD #1, a series that presents a young Dark Knight's first foray into the deepest, darkest wilds of outer space. It's very much a love letter to some of the DC books of the mid 80s that made me a comic fan to begin with, comics like ATARI FORE and NEW TEEN TITANS and THE OMEGA MEN, along with the Batman classics of the era, like YEAR ONE and DARK KNIGHT RETURNS.
